KPC Youth programme
Paul Holden, our Youth Minister, leads our youth programme and is responsible for the overall co-ordination of all youth events so please get in touch if you have any ideas, queries or want extra information on any youth events (email@example.com). Anna Holden is our Youth Assistant and leads our discipleship, school mentoring and girls leadership development programmes (firstname.lastname@example.org). Henry Frankel is our youth ministry student (training at St Mellitus Bible College) and co-ordinates the Soul Survivor trip and Heart of Worship events (email@example.com).
We continue to appreciate KPC members who help and support our your youth work. We aim to expand this volunteer team. If you, or anyone you know, would like to join a community of Christians who want to share the adventure of following Jesus, we have a great job for you. Please get in touch.
Our wonderful young leaders sustain our programme, and we have a great youth band of over 10 young people.
Our regular activities on Sundays and midweek during term time are set out below.
Sundays are busy and lively at KPC. We meet during our 9:15 services (Sunday Morning Service – SMS).
We also encourage youth to come to the informal 6.30pm service and, once a month, we run a Youth Evening Service (YES) – both in St John’s Hall. This service is particularly good for older youth as the older youth tend to prefer this service.
SMS (Sunday morning service)
SMS is our “growing faith” teaching slot for all young people on a Sunday morning. If you are under 18 and can get up in time we would love to see you too!
We start in the 9:15am service and then all head out for our groups, except when there is an all age service.
We occasionally split up into girls and boys, and look at the Bible, take up challenge, play games and have fun.
YES (Youth evening service)
We all get together at 6.00pm on the first Sunday each month in St John’s Hall.
We start each YES by eating together, then worship and get inspiration from others as they follow Jesus.
This is a great time for you to meet up with everyone and experience God.
