KPC Youth programme
Paul Holden – our Youth Minister leads our youth programme. Henry Frankel is our student youth minister while he trains at a youth ministry course at St Mellitus.
We continue to appreciate KPC members who help and support our your youth work. We aim to expand this volunteer team. If you, or anyone you know, would like to join a community of Christians who want to share the adventure of following Jesus, we have a great job for you. Please get in touch.
Our wonderful young leaders sustain our programme, and we have a great youth band of over 10 young people.
Our regular activities on Sundays and midweek during term time are set out below.
Sundays are busy and lively at KPC. We meet during our 9:15 services (Sunday Morning Service – SMS).
We also encourage youth to come to the informal 6.30pm service and, once a month, we run a Youth Evening Service (YES) – both in St John’s Hall. Year 11 to 13 students are welcome to come to the Red Lion after the 6.30 service to discuss Hot Topics that we feel are relevant to all young people.
SMS (Sunday morning service)
SMS is our “growing faith” teaching slot for all young people on a Sunday morning. If you are under 18 and can get up in time we would love to see you too!
We start in the 9:15am service and then all head out for our groups, except when there is an all age service.
We occasionally split up into girls and boys, and look at the Bible, take up challenge, play games and have fun.
YES (Youth evening service)
We all get together at 5.30pm on the first Sunday each month in St John’s Hall.
We start each YES by eating together, then worship and get inspiration from others as they follow Jesus.
This is a great time for you to meet up with everyone and experience God.
MMM (Monthly Monday Mentoring)
Many of our young people meet together with a leader in a small group to discuss issues which can then be prayed through with support from the rest of the group.
Tuesday Tunes (Worship band practice)
We have some really gifted musicians within the youth at KPC, so we meet fortnightly to practice together as a band and then help lead worship at different events in the month. We are always keen for new singers and musicians to join us!
Homegroup for Years 7-13
We meet on a Wednesday night, usually from 7:30 to 9.00pm in term time – in St John’s Hall (except for the Monthly Movie Night when we relocate to the Guild House – usually the first Wednesday of each month).
TEG (Thursday Evening Games)
We have an informal youth club with a difference as we provide access to games (both indoor and outdoor) as well as an opportunity to share food and drinks together while watching a short video and chatting about the message behind it.
We would love you to join us at any of these events.
Please contact: email@example.com so we can make sure you get to the right place.
