I was one of the youth who helped out with the boulder gang team working with children at the end of primary school age. Being on the young team under the age of 17 I wasn’t given a group of children to myself but helped leaders out when they found certain children difficult but still spent the majority of my time with one group getting the know all of the kids. One of the most inspiring moments was when one of the girls who had recently been adopted from Uganda gave her life to Jesus even through all the difficulties she faced with cerebral palsy. The kids also got more involved in the worship as the week went on making it obvious lifting their hands not being ashamed by those around them. New wine is something I would like to do again next year.
