Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones has been established for 15 years as a pre-school playgroup run by qualified staff and regularly inspected by Ofsted - see our Ofsted registration and reports. It runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning for children aged 2 to 4 years old from 9.15am to 12.15pm, with afternoon sessions commencing in January 2011 from 12.30pm to 3.00pm.
It provides a high standard of childcare in a safe, stimulating and friendly environment where children are offered a wide range of experiences to help them learn through play, following the Early Years Foundation stage framework.
For further details and to enquire about places please contact Sue Spencer via the Parish Office.
Sunflower Street
Come and meet the flowers and animals who live in Sunflower Street at 12 noon (till 12.45pm) on the first Thursday of each month during school term time. A puppet show that consists of story, song, prayer and craft activity, Sunflower Street is aimed at pre-school children and their parents and carers. Stories are based on a Bible story or moral “issue” such as friendship, caring for others, or being truthful. The audience are invited to bring a picnic and we provide the drinks.
