On Sundays
you usually have a choice of attending one or more of five services of varying styles designed to appeal to people at different stages of life and faith.

The usual pattern is described below.

On weekdays
a service on Wednesday morning and many other opportunities to meet in small groups and in other contexts.

8.00 a.m. Holy Communion – quiet, formal
A quiet Holy Communion service – said together.

9.15 a.m. – contemporary
A lively service with modern music and groups for young people of all ages. Holy Communion is on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Do join us for coffee in St John’s Hall between the 9.15 and 11.00 services and if you are new to our church, make yourself known in the Welcome Corner in St John’s Hall entrance. The Church bookshop is open.

11.00 a.m. – formal
A formal service with traditional hymns, choir and organ music. Holy Communion is on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

6.00 p.m. – straightforward
A straightforward service in church with Christian teaching and a music group. Holy Communion is on the 4th Sunday of the month.

6.30 p.m. – informal, interactive
An informal, interactive service in St John’s Hall – starts with coffee/tea and cake, then contemporary music and visual talk.
– not on the 1st Sunday of the month.

During the school summer holidays, a single evening service is held in church at 6.30pm.

Wednesday 10:00 a.m. Holy Communion
A service in church each week, followed by coffee in the Guild House.
