KPC Youth – summer ventures 2019

Mission Trip 2019 – Moldova

On 15th July a team of 15 people from KPC will be travelling to Chisnau, Moldova to work with Mission Direct to help support disabled children and their families.  Whilst there we will be improving the facilities of a children’s holiday camp, this will include erecting a fence around the perimeter to ensure safety for all of the children on-site.

The young people have been working hard to fund-raise for the trip including walking 26.2 miles to Birmingham and back and we held a Moldovan barn dance and meal.

We are holding Mission Trip social events to enable the team to get to know one another before we go. The dates for these are:

Saturday 22nd June BBQ at Di Ellis’ house

Saturday 29th June BBQ  at Karen and Nick Humby’s house.

If you are on the team please make every effort to be at both events!

We hope to be able to take gifts to the children and their families in Moldova including toys, bed sheets, colouring pens, crayons and paper. If you are able to make any donations of these items please do so to the youth team or leave with the parish office team.  Thank you!

If you would like to find out more about the trip or would like to support in any way please email
