Friendship Club
Friendship Club will not be meeting again until Spring 2021.
As its name implies, Friendship Club is for anyone seeking to make new friends.
Whilst our members are mainly senior citizens, the Club is open to Knowle residents of any age, regardless of whether or not they attend church.
We meet every Thursday (except 2nd and 4th weeks in August).
Our programme is as follows:
1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays in the month
Coffee Morning in the Guild House from 10.00 to 11.30 am (50p)
2nd Thursday in the month (except August)
Light Lunch in St. John’s Hall from 12 noon (£3.00)
4th Thursday in the month (except August)
Lunch in St. John’s Hall at 12.30 pm
This is preceded by ‘Thought for the Day’ at 12 noon for anyone who would like to attend.
Special events
Twice a year we arrange outings and occasionally we organise theatre visits.
Membership
Membership is £2.00, payable when you join, and annually in September.
So, if you are lonely or wanting to make new friends, come along one Thursday – we would love to meet you!
