Friday Night Girls' Night

Calling all ladies!
We started our Friday Night Girls Night in September 2024 with 70 ladies. By our 5th evening we were up to 200!
This popular women’s event has a wonderful vibe and lightness of Spirit as we worship, share testimonies, and read God's Word together.
On 20th March 2026 we will be joined by Revd Sebrina Blackstock-Miller.
Raised in council housing in Oxford as the first generation born away from the family’s native Jamaica, Sebrina studied at Keele University in Staffordshire, before living in Texas, USA for five years, before moving to Birmingham. Before becoming a priest she worked in retail, youth ministry, communications and nannying/tutoring and back to retail, before spending nearly a decade as a stay at home mum. Sebrina currently works as a curate at Rea Church in Balsall Heath/Edgbaston, having previously served in Ladywood, Sparkhill and Sparkbrook.
Outside of parish ministry, she serves on the Birmingham Diocese Board of Education and the Racial Justice Board. Her passions are for intergenerational and intercultural ministry, building community, and bringing hope through preaching; for people from all backgrounds to experience God’s love and the radical difference that makes, and those from marginalised backgrounds to be fully included in church life and leadership. Ask her about family life & ministry, creative worship, racial justice, and writing a dissertation on Love Island!
