Tribute to Bishop Walter 

 
With firm faith in Jesus Christ and hope in the resurrection, the Anglican Episcopal Church of Bolivia informs that our beloved Diocesan Bishop, Walter Toro Martinez, has departed to the Presence of the Lord.

We thank God for his life dedicated to the service of the Gospel, for his love-filled pastoral ministry and for his faithful testimony to the care of God's People.

We trust in the eternal promise of the Lord and believe that he now rests in God’s glorious presence, partaking in eternal life prepared for his faithful servants.

We lift up our prayers that our Lord Jesus Christ may receive him in His eternal glory, and we ask the Holy Spirit to grant comfort, peace and strength to his family, the clergy, all congregations of the Anglican Episcopal Church of Bolivia and their friends and loved ones.

We hold fast in the hope of the Risen Lord, proclaiming that death has been defeated and that in Christ we have eternal life.
